*NOTE: (and history lesson) First of all, Baba's obituary states that she was born in Sebes, Czechoslovakia. The only town of Sebes I can find is in present day Romania.
In 1886 Sebes was a part of the Transylvania region of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The Union of Transylvania with Romania was proclaimed December 1, 1918 and then it became a part of the Kingdom of Romania in 1920.
